I sure love engagement sessions. Two people have chosen each other. They have found the person they cannot live without. It makes my heart happy, and I love to show their love for eachother through my photographs. This couple chose an urban session, and we had a great time discovering hidden treasure spots around Des Moines. Can't wait for the wedding you two!

I met Josh a few years ago when we were both on The Board of the Chamber of Commerce in town. It was so nice to be able to meet his lovely wife and gorgeous little girl this Fall for a family session. Their sweet girl has some of the bluest eyes I have ever seen and she just melts your heart with her smirks and facial expressions! Here are some images from our session, enjoy! Thank you for your business Bryant Family :)

Western Themed Day

Jenn and Luke's beautiful wedding took place on one of the last weekends of fall at the beautiful Happy Apple Orchard in Cumming. It wasn't hard to tell that Winter was on it's way-- because it was a cold one out there. But the bridal party, they were troopers, and made it through some outdoor shots! We had such a great time with these guys! The wedding was so unique that of course it quickly became one of my favorites to photograph. Jenn's bouquet was made out of brooches and the centerpieces were tree stumps, with mason jars and candles. It was just amazing. I attached some photos of this western inpired wedding for you!!! Amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with this couple ...

"The soul is healed by being with a child." -Fyodor Dostoevsky  . These three little angel girls just light up my life. I smile so big whenever I get to see them. I have had pleasure of photographing them for many years, seeing them grow at all their milestones. Aren't they just precious? :)

"Don't be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone else." Grace is her own person, completely unique, fun and entertaining. We had a blast galavanting all across Des Moines for her senior pictures. I really enjoyed her, and the confidence she possesses at such a young age. I hope you have a great senior year Miss Grace!
